The truVUE Difference
With a little research you will be able to find that truVUE is not the only company capable of providing Ultrasonic testing services on your fire sprinkler piping. So what makes truVUE different
-
Ultrasonic measurement can tell you WHAT the wall thickness of your piping is, but what does that data actually mean for you and your system?
Through a proprietary algorithm developed by our co-founders, truVUE is able to provide you with a “time” component to your system in calculating the remaining service life. This time component will allow you to add focus to your mitigation plan instead of guessing.
—
What is easier to understand — to be told that you have 80-mils of wall thickness in this location, OR this pipe section has 2-years of useful life remaining?
-
Yes, it may sound cliché, but our staff is what makes all the difference when comparing us to alternatives.
You can read more about our Founders and COO here — Our Team — but a quick summary. We have two licensed mechanical/fire protection engineers with a combined 50 years experience in building systems design, analysis and project oversight. One co-founder is a computer systems engineer specializing in analytics, hardware & software architecture, and complex system design — his experience was pivotal in the development of our algorithm.
In addition, truVUE utilizes field technicians trained in fire sprinkler design — their design experience makes them experts in recognizing potential corrosion causing issues within a system.
-
We are not here to sell piping installation or replacement services. Our entire service revolves around verifying the condition and provide an analysis on remaining service life of your piping system in locations tested — how you choose to utilize that information is completely up to you.
truVUE is part of the solution for your overall sprinkler system assessments. We are able to coordinate with your engineer and/or fire sprinkler contractor providing piping integrity data for their use. When needed or if you do not have parties in place, we are available to assist in the preparation of a mitigation plan utilizing our field data along with system evaluations performed by other parties.
